The Princess of Wales is known for her <a href="https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1820971/princess-kate-diet-nutrition-health” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>healthy approach when it comes to diet, and there are two things she’s a huge fan of and implements into her day whenever she can. Princess Catherine may have kept her diet and eating habits out of the public eye, but over the years, several insiders and experts have shed light on her top picks.

One of those is her two favourite vegetables, which she usually has in the morning and helps her maintain a healthy and glowing skin. Catherine is reportedly a fan of kale and spinach, which she incorporates into a power smoothie she has in the morning to fuel her through the day. Although botanically not a vegetable, avocados are also said to be a firm favourite of the future Queen.

Spinach is packed full of iron, protein, vitamins and minerals and is known for helping improve bone health

Kale is rich in vitamins A and C and supports eye health and a strong immune system.

Meanwhile, avocados are powerhouses full of magnesium, potassium and healthy omega-3 fatty acids.

According to the Daily Mail, Catherine likes to drink a super smoothie whenever she gets time to start her day.

The royal reportedly mixes kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine, cilantro and blueberries for her nutrient-dense drink.

Another breakfast food Catherine is keen on is oats.

Slow-burning energy oats can keep the royal “filled up and with enough fuel to attend royal events, exercise and run after her three children”, according to nutrition experts at BarBend.

As the princess is known to love a good, consistent workout too, the experts said that oats can be an excellent exercise fuel, “as they release energy throughout the whole workout.”
